2024 Annual Meeting Calculator for CBCA Companies

Using notice-and-access requires exemptions from the CBCA requirements to mail proxy circulars and financial statements. Corporations Canada has published templates for these exemption applications. They can be found in the Annexes of the Policy Statements that are linked inside this document: Using notice-and-access under the Canada Business Corporations Act.
The CBCA permits record dates as close as 21 days before an AGM, but NI 54-101 imposes the longer 30-day lead time.
